Manna Project is the Community Engagement Ministry of Word of Life, led by Ps Jean De Los Reyes. The Manna Project provides food assistance to disadvantaged members of the community. Through the fortnightly service, our aim as a team is to provide support in every aspect possible. Our distributions are held on the second Tuesday and last Saturday of every month, if you are in need of any assistance we’d love to chat with you.
Our Service
We provide FREE groceries for those who need the extra help. WHEN? every 2nd and LAST Saturday each month 1PM-3PM WHERE? 1995 Western HWY, Rockbank MUST bring pensioners/concession card.
Our Story
We are a bunch of volunteers (aged 19yrs-60yrs old) based in Rockbank who have the same heart to serve the community. In 2013, Pastor Jean Del Los Reyes allowed her passion to serve and love for others overflow and sought ideas on how to do this and THIS was the result, ‘Manna Project.’
‘Manna’ is derived from the miraculous story in the bible when the Israelites wander the dessert for 40 years in search for their promise land. For those years God provided food by raining manna (bread) from the heavens for them to eat.
Our volunteers share the same passion to serve and love the community and want to help in a practical way. One way we have been able to do this is by providing free groceries to those in difficult situations. Perhaps there is a journey you are struggling with at the moment, let us help.
We want to bring the community together and lift one another up. We want to love, care and support you where we can. People of all ages and backgrounds are absolutely welcome! We would love to meet you and just chill out over a cuppa.
